Macleay Motor Engineering Ltd is a registered Cummins Engine Dealer outlet and we specialise in bus, coach and transport applications, construction and plant, industrial power generation and also marine engine applications.
We are able to offer many types of specialist work such as body and electrical repairs and have facilities to complete this in-house. We also carry out specific modifications to vehicles and other types of auxiliary equipment.
Our workshops are fully equipped to provide all the support services that our clients need including specialist welding in stainless steel, alloys, and mild steel. We are also proud to work in close conjunction with MAN Truck and Bus (Scotland) covering all types of mechanical work and vehicle breakdowns on a 24/7 basis in Ayrshire and beyond. Maintenance:
We are able to provide your company with a maintenance planning and scheduling service for your fleet vehicles to ensure that your Operator Licence obligations in respect of vehicle maintenance are met. Macleay offer vehicle and trailer inspection and prepare vehicles for their MOT and present them for their annual test.
We provide all supporting documentation and ensure that this is completed correctly and presented to you in a timely manner. We would be delighted to discuss your maintenance requirements in detail with a view to tailoring a bespoke service for your operation.
Repair:
Our skilled engineers have vast experience in dealing with a wide variety of vehicle and engine repairs. The bulk of the work carried out by our technicians is on light and heavy vehicles, such as general on-site mechanical repairs, electrical and bodywork repairs. Macleay are also contracted to repair construction, industrial equipment, power generation and marine engines.
Breakdown:
Breaking down is a major inconvenience to anyone, and without adequate breakdown insurance it can be very costly to your business. To this end Macleay offers 24/7 breakdown support to our customers.
